The band WOODSPELL comprises outstanding New England based musicians. Their rich vocal harmonies are accompanied on a number of acoustic musical instruments including 6- and 12-string guitars, violin, flute, mandolin, banjo, keyboard, and a number of rare antique instruments. WOODSPELL's music is suited to audiences of all ages, and can be adapted to a variety of entertainment settings. Providing music for wedding ceremonies and receptions, WOODSPELL can perform from a broad range of musical periods, from early baroque, Renaissance, and classical to contemporary folk, popular, or rock and roll. We read our audiences well, and will fit the feel of your event. We are not a typical "wedding band" - we believe you probably don't want someone you barely know coaxing your family and friends into dancing or rushing you on to the next activity. We provide tasteful music as background before or during dinner, and upbeat and danceable music where desired. We can emcee as much or little as you request.
